In the semifinal of the National Textile Football Championship, the football team of the National Institute of Textile Engineering and Research (NITER) faced Primeasia University.
However, following the match, a complaint was submitted to the tournament authorities alleging that Primeasia University had fielded players who were not affiliated with the university. This was considered a violation of the tournament’s participation rules and regulations.
After reviewing and verifying the complaint, the organizing committee took the necessary action in accordance with the tournament guidelines. To uphold the principles of fair competition, the NITER Football Team was subsequently promoted to the final.
