The logo of Textile Fest Bangladesh 1.0 was officially unveiled on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at the National Institute of Textile Engineering and Research (NITER) in Savar. The unveiling ceremony was organized by the NITER Textile Club in the institute’s conference room.
The logo was unveiled by Professor Ashikul Alam Rana, Director of NITER, who attended the event as the Chief Guest. According to the organizers, the ceremony marked the first phase of the promotional campaign for Textile Fest Bangladesh 1.0.
The event was attended by faculty members of the Textile Department, members of the NITER Textile Club, and a large number of enthusiastic students, reflecting the strong excitement surrounding the upcoming festival.
The two-day mega event is scheduled to be held at the NITER campus in September 2026.
More than 3,000 students and over 150 industry representatives and leading corporate executives are expected to participate, making it one of the largest student–industry networking platforms in Bangladesh’s textile and apparel sector.
The festival will feature nine exciting competitions with a total prize pool of BDT 410,000, including TexOlympiad, Apparel Cost Sheet Competition, 180-Second Innovation Pitch, Apparel CAD Battle, Fashion Show, Dress Exhibition, Mock Interview, and Photography Competition.
In addition, the event will include seminars and talk shows, a job fair and career networking sessions, textile and dress exhibitions, a fashion show, a mega live concert, a stand-up comedy show, and a raffle draw.
Participants will have the opportunity to engage with leading experts from the textile industry, connect directly with top corporate organizations, and explore career opportunities. Young innovators will showcase their creative apparel designs, while a spectacular runway show will highlight emerging fashion talent. The festival will conclude with an exciting blend of live music, comedy performances, and an attractive raffle draw, promising a memorable experience for all attendees.
