The Questions We Can’t Ask: A Powerful Showcase of Student Creativity at BUFT
The exhibition “The Questions We Can’t Ask” was successfully held on April 28 at the BUFT Multipurpose Hall, featuring an inspiring showcase of student creativity from the Faculty of Fashion Studies at BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT).
The exhibition presented the course outcomes of Aesthetics of Fashion Art and Design, highlighting the creative achievements of students from Batch 222-FS, 231-FS, and 231-FDT. Through diverse visual displays, paintings, and conceptual presentations, students expressed their academic journey, artistic vision, and innovative thinking.
Organized by the students, the event served as a dynamic platform for storytelling and design interpretation. Many of the artworks explored complex emotional themes, unspoken struggles, and the concept of emotional survival through creative expression.
The exhibition was curated under the guidance of Ms. Afsana Sharmin, Assistant Professor in the Department of Fashion Studies. She emphasized that painting can serve as a powerful form of art therapy, helping individuals develop emotional resilience and self-expression.
The event attracted faculty members, industry professionals, and invited guests, whose presence enriched the overall experience and inspired the participating students.
