Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics – Autumn Edition 2026 will take place from 25–27 August 2026 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), bringing together global textile and apparel industry leaders on one of the world’s largest sourcing platforms. This year’s event will place a strong emphasis on sustainability by showcasing innovative bio-based, recycled, and environmentally responsible textile solutions.
A major highlight of the exhibition will be the Econogy Hub, a dedicated space featuring sustainable fibres, advanced materials, eco-friendly manufacturing technologies, and internationally recognized certification systems. The platform aims to connect suppliers with global buyers seeking verified sustainable textile products.
As demand for greener production continues to grow, the exhibition will highlight practical solutions that enhance supply chain transparency, improve resource efficiency, and support long-term environmental sustainability. Industry experts are increasingly focusing on renewable raw materials and recycled fibres to reduce dependence on conventional synthetic materials.
Among the featured exhibitors, Switzerland-based Haelixa AG will present its DNA-based traceability technology, enabling brands to verify textile products from fibre to finished garment. The company has already helped trace more than 30 million garments worldwide, supporting greater supply chain transparency.
Meanwhile, Hong Kong-based ZAKER New Material Technology will introduce its plant-based Rborne polyurethane technology, offering a sustainable alternative to conventional leather while maintaining durability and manufacturing efficiency.
To simplify sustainable sourcing, the exhibition’s Econogy Finder will feature more than 100 verified sustainable exhibitors, enabling buyers to quickly identify suppliers that meet recognized environmental standards. Visitors will also benefit from the Econogy Tour, which highlights selected sustainable exhibitors, and Econogy Talks, where industry experts will discuss the circular economy, sustainable materials, certification, compliance, and future industry trends.
Beyond its sustainability-focused exhibits, the fair will feature specialized sourcing zones, including Premium Wool Zone, Accessories Vision, Beyond Denim, Essential Suits & Shirts, Functional Lab, Innovation & Digital Solutions Zone, SalonEurope, and Verve for Design, providing buyers with access to the latest innovations in fabrics, accessories, and textile technologies.
The exhibition is jointly organized by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, the Sub-Council of Textile Industry, CCPIT, and the China Textile Information Center. It will be held alongside Yarn Expo Autumn, CHIC, and PH Value, creating a comprehensive sourcing platform that brings together every segment of the textile and apparel value chain.
With sustainability, traceability, and material innovation becoming increasingly important in global sourcing, Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics – Autumn Edition 2026 is expected to play a significant role in shaping the future of the global textile industry.
